The operation was observed caring for thirteen children. The capacity on the permit is 12.

A total of one caregiver and ten children were observed inside the licensed childcare home. The maximum children allowed is seven children based on their age group. The licensed childcare home is out of ratio by three children.

There was a dog in the backyard without vaccinations record.

While review the operational policy there was no notification to the parents of an animal being present at the home.

The operation does not have written policy for procedures for the release of children, illness and exclusion criteria, procedures for dispensing medication a statement that medication is not dispensed, procedures for handling medical emergencies, discipline and guidance policy, safe sleep for infant 12 months old or younger, the procedures for parents to visit the child-care home any time during your hours of operation to observe their child, program activities, the home, the premises, and equipment without having to secure prior approval, the procedures for parents to review copy of the child-care home's most recent Licensing inspection report and how the parent may access the minimum standards online, instructions on how a parent may contact the local Licensing office, access the Texas Abuse and Neglect Hotline, and access the DFPS website your emergency preparedness plan, procedures for conducting health checks.

The operation did not have the required emergency preparedness plan.

At time of inspection an eight month infant was observed with a blanket inside the crib. This was corrected at inspection.

An infant was observed sleeping in a restrictive device.
